Short-wave Infra-red

Short-wave infra-red is provided by quartz-halogen lamps with fine tungsten filaments at a temperature of around 2500°C. The many benefits that can be enjoyed by using short-wave infra-red include:

•  Very fast thermal response similar to a light bulb, allowing energy control via product detectors.

•  The radiant infra-red heats the product directly without the need to heat up large amounts of air.

•  Simple, energy efficient and flexible.
